What a Passo actually sells for at Japanese auction — taken from 28 auction sheets we verified for customers, model years 2013–2023. These are hammer prices, not asking prices.
Latest sale 7 Nov 2024 · updated 12 Sep 2026What “typical” means here. We line up every sale from cheapest to dearest and take the one in the middle. So one wrecked car and one showroom car cannot drag the number up or down. A plain average can be pulled a long way by a single odd sale — which is the last thing you want when working out what to bid.
The last 3 we verified, newest first. Chassis numbers and buyer details are never shown.
| Sold | Year | Grade | Mileage | Hammer |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Nov 2024 | 2021 | 4.5 | 28,000 km | ¥947,000 |
| Apr 2024 | 2022 | Accidental | 7,102 km | ¥621,000 |
| Mar 2021 | 2018 | 4.5 | 31,000 km | ¥639,000 |
Grades we see most. The auction grade is the inspector's overall score for the car. A higher number means better condition, and it moves the price more than almost anything else.
Where they sold. The house matters less than the grade, but some venues run consistently stronger stock.
The hammer price is what the car cost in the auction hall. To land it in your country you also pay the auction fee, inland transport in Japan, export clearance, shipping, then your own country's duty, tax and inspection.
Those additions vary enormously — in some markets they roughly double the hammer price. Our import guide breaks down what to expect for your country.
And this is not a quote. Two Passos of the same year can differ by a wide margin on grade, mileage and accident history alone. That is exactly what the auction sheet tells you — and why it is worth reading before you bid.
Enter its chassis number and we will pull the original auction sheet — grade, damage marks, mileage, accident history and the price it actually sold for.
