Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the JP Sheet website and auction sheet verification services operated by JP Sheet ("we", "us", "our") at jpsheet.com.

By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part, you may not use our services. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers.

1. Our Services

JP Sheet provides the following services:

• Auction Sheet Verification — retrieving the original auction inspection record for a Japanese vehicle using its chassis number ($7 per report)
• Auction Sheet Translation — translating the Japanese auction sheet content into clear English ($3 add-on or $10 bundle)
• Manual Search — manually contacting Japanese auction houses to find records not in our standard database ($35 per search)
• Packages — bulk credit packages for dealers and importers at discounted rates

All services are subject to availability of data from Japanese auction house databases. JP Sheet is not an auction house and does not conduct vehicle inspections — we retrieve and present data created by licensed Japanese auction inspectors.

2. Eligibility & Account Use

• You must be at least 18 years old or have legal capacity to enter a contract in your jurisdiction to use our services
• You must provide accurate and truthful information, including a valid email address and correct chassis number
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials
• You may not use our services for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to abuse promotional pricing is prohibited

3. Payment & Pricing

Current pricing as listed on jpsheet.com:

• Single report: $7
• Report + Translation bundle: $10
• Add translation to existing report: $3
• Manual search: $35
• Package prices as listed on the Packages page

We accept payment via Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, debit cards) and PayPal. Prices are in USD and are final — no hidden fees or additional taxes unless required by your local law.

Payment must be completed before your report is delivered. In the case of manual search, payment is taken upfront but a full refund is issued if no record is found.

4. Report Delivery

• Standard reports are delivered instantly after payment confirmation, typically within seconds
• Translation is delivered within 24 hours of order
• Manual search results are delivered within 24–48 hours
• Reports are delivered to the email address you provide at checkout — ensure it is correct before paying
• Every report includes a permanent link you can access any time — there is no expiry
• JP Sheet is not responsible for delivery failures caused by incorrect email addresses, spam filters, or the recipient's mail server

5. Accuracy of Reports

JP Sheet retrieves auction sheet data directly from Japanese auction house databases. We present this data as-is and do not modify, edit or fabricate any information.

• Reports reflect the condition of the vehicle at the time of the auction in Japan — not its current condition
• Damage or alterations occurring after export will not appear in our reports
• We cannot guarantee 100% accuracy of data as it originates from third-party auction house systems
• In rare cases, records may be unavailable, incomplete, or contain errors made by the original inspector
• Our reports are for informational purposes and should be used as one of several tools when evaluating a vehicle

JP Sheet is not liable for purchasing decisions made based solely on our reports. We strongly recommend an independent physical inspection of any vehicle before purchase.

6. Refunds & Cancellations

• Standard reports: Due to the instant digital nature of our service, refunds are not available once a report has been successfully delivered
• Manual search: Full refund if our team cannot locate any record for your chassis number
• Technical failure: If a report is not delivered due to a system error on our side, you will receive a full refund or a free re-delivery
• Wrong chassis: If you entered the wrong chassis number, we cannot issue a refund — please double-check before paying
• Packages: Unused package credits are non-refundable once purchased

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use JP Sheet services to:

• Reproduce, sell or resell our reports without written permission
• Scrape, copy or extract data from our website by automated means
• Use our reports to misrepresent a vehicle's condition to a buyer
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or reports
• Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise our systems
• Use our service for any fraudulent, deceptive or unlawful purpose

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension and legal action where applicable.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on jpsheet.com — including text, design, graphics, logos, and code — is the property of JP Sheet and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our written permission.

Auction sheet images and data retrieved from Japanese auction houses remain the property of the respective auction houses. JP Sheet holds a licence to access and present this data. You may use your report for personal reference only — commercial redistribution is not permitted without written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JP Sheet shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of our services
• Losses resulting from purchasing decisions made based on our reports
• Any inaccuracies in data sourced from third-party auction house databases
• Delays in delivery caused by factors outside our control
• Unauthorised access to your account due to your own failure to keep credentials secure

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service in question.

10. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our services, you consent to our collection and use of your data as described in that policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

For material changes, we will endeavour to notify registered users by email.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through our support team before pursuing formal legal action.
