A JP Sheet — short for Japanese auction sheet — is the official inspection report created by licensed inspectors at Japanese car auctions. It records every scratch, dent, repair, mileage, grade and mechanical issue found on the vehicle at the time of auction. It is the most reliable document for checking a Japanese vehicle's true history.
The chassis number (also called frame number or VIN) is printed on the driver's door frame sticker, the dashboard near the windshield, or in vehicle registration documents. It typically contains both letters and numbers — for example NZE141-6048723 or MH85S-218124.
Standard auction sheet reports are instant — usually delivered in under 10 seconds after payment. English translations take 1 to 12 hours. Manual archive searches for records not in our live database take 24 to 48 hours.
