This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of JP Sheet's website and services. It applies to all users — individuals, dealers, importers, and businesses. By using our service, you agree to follow this policy.
This AUP supplements (and is part of) our Terms and Conditions. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your access, refund forfeiture, and/or legal action.
What You Can Do (Permitted Uses)
- Verify auction records for vehicles you intend to purchase, sell, or appraise
- Share your purchased report with dealers, mechanics, banks, family, or anyone helping you make a buying decision
- Print or save your reports for personal records
- Reference your report when negotiating with sellers
- Submit your report to customs, registration authorities, or insurance companies if requested
- Order multiple verifications for your personal or business needs
- Use our chassis decoder tool for educational and pre-purchase research
- Read, share, or quote brief excerpts of our blog posts with attribution and link back
- Contact us through the channels we provide (WhatsApp, email, support form)
What You Cannot Do (Prohibited Uses)
- Resell our reports as your own product or service — operating a competing verification business using our data is strictly prohibited
- Republish or repost our reports publicly on websites, marketplaces, or social media without our written permission
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically download our data, chassis decoder database, blog posts, or any other content
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access our service, place orders, or extract information
- Bypass payment by fraud, charge-back abuse, or any other means
- Provide false information when placing an order or creating an account
- Use stolen or unauthorized payment methods
- Falsify, alter, or misrepresent reports we provide (e.g. changing the auction grade before showing to a buyer)
- Sell unmodified reports to third parties for profit without our written agreement
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to derive our database, algorithms, or business processes
- Use our service to harass, defame, or harm any individual or business
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, reports, or our internal systems
- Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities of our website or infrastructure without prior written consent
- Interfere with or disrupt our service, servers, or networks
- Use our service for any illegal purpose — including money laundering, sanctions evasion, or tax fraud
- Impersonate JP Sheet, our employees, or other users
- Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without written permission
Special Rules for Dealers & Bulk Buyers
If you are a car dealer, importer, or business buying multiple reports:
- ✓ You may use reports to support your own sales and dealings with your customers
- ✓ You may show reports to your customers as part of vehicle disclosure
- ✓ You may forward report links to specific buyers when selling vehicles
- ✗ You may NOT resell our reports as a standalone product
- ✗ You may NOT build a competing verification service using our data
- ✗ You may NOT systematically scrape or batch-download reports
- ✗ You may NOT charge your customers for the report itself (you can include verification in your service package, but the report cannot be the primary product you're selling)

Content Restrictions
When interacting with our service (including contact forms, chat, account fields), you may not submit or transmit content that:
- Is unlawful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, or obscene
- Infringes any intellectual property right
- Contains malicious code, viruses, or harmful programs
- Violates the privacy or publicity rights of any person
- Is intended to deceive, defraud, or mislead
- Promotes illegal activities or content
- Contains advertising or solicitation unrelated to legitimate inquiries
Accurate Account Information
When placing an order, opening an account, or contacting us, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
- Not impersonate any person or entity
- Not create accounts using fake names, false emails, or unauthorized payment methods
- Keep your account credentials secure and not share them
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorized account access
API & Automated Access
JP Sheet does not currently offer a public API. Automated, programmatic, or batch access to our website is prohibited unless we have specifically authorized you in writing.
This includes (but is not limited to):
- Web scrapers, crawlers, spiders
- Headless browsers (Selenium, Puppeteer, Playwright) for data extraction
- Browser extensions that collect our content
- Reverse-engineered API calls to our internal endpoints
- Bulk-ordering scripts
Standard search engines (Google, Bing, etc.) following our robots.txt directives are permitted.
Enforcement & Consequences
If we believe you have violated this AUP, we may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice:
- Suspend or terminate your access to our service
- Cancel your orders and reverse pending verifications
- Refuse to issue refunds for service that was misused
- Disable your permanent report links
- Block your IP addresses, email addresses, or payment methods
- Refer the matter to law enforcement or regulatory authorities
- Pursue legal action to recover damages and prevent further violations
We may take any of these actions for a single violation or a pattern of violations. The severity of our response will depend on the nature and impact of the violation.
Reporting Violations
If you observe any abuse of our service, suspected fraud, or violations of this AUP by another user, please report it to us at [email protected] with the subject line "AUP Violation Report".
Include as much detail as possible — URLs, timestamps, screenshots, and a description of what you observed. We investigate every report.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time to address new risks or clarify existing rules. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
For material changes, we will notify registered users via email or prominent notice on our website. Continued use after changes constitutes your acceptance.
