What cookies JP Sheet uses, why we use them and how to control them.

We use cookies only where necessary to operate the service, process payments securely and measure anonymous traffic. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites or build advertising profiles.
These cookies are essential for the website to function. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality such as login and checkout.

Short list, because we do not set many.
jpsheet_sess — keeps you signed in. It lasts 7 days of inactivity, so you do not lose your place halfway through an order. Strictly necessary; it cannot be switched off without breaking login.
Cloudflare sets its own cookies in front of our site to tell real visitors from attack traffic. These are security cookies, not tracking cookies, and Cloudflare does not use them to build a profile of you.
Cookie consent — we store your choice so we do not ask again on every page. Refusing cookies still requires storing that refusal, which is the small irony of every consent banner.
No advertising networks. No cross-site tracking. No data brokers. We do not sell or share your browsing behaviour, and we run no retargeting pixels.
Our VIN check sets no extra cookies. The rate limit that stops one connection hammering our API is stored on our own server, as a counter against a hashed IP address — not in your browser, and never in a form we can read back as an address.
You can use the free searches without accepting anything. Chassis and VIN lookups work with strictly necessary cookies alone. You only need an account — and a session cookie — to buy a report.
We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use our website โ which pages are popular, how people arrive at the site and where they leave. All data is anonymous.

When you proceed to checkout, Stripe and PayPal set cookies to process your payment securely and protect against fraud. These are set by the payment providers directly and are required to complete transactions.
