JP Sheet runs on a database covering every major Japanese vehicle auction from 2007 onward — millions of records, each with the original grade, mileage, inspection sheet and auction photos exactly as the Japanese inspector recorded them. This depth is what makes accurate verification possible: enter a chassis number and you are reading the real auction history, not a guess.

JP Sheet is founded with a single mission: give buyers anywhere direct, honest access to Japanese auction records. For the first time, any buyer in any country could enter a chassis number and receive a full auction sheet report in seconds, 24 hours a day. What used to mean trusting a dealer’s word could now be checked before completing a purchase.

JP Sheet adds full Japanese-to-English translation of auction sheet content — turning cryptic inspector notes, damage codes and equipment listings into clear, readable English — and launches the Report + Translation bundle at a unified $10 price.

Three years of patches had made the original site slow and awkward to change. Rather than patch it further we rebuilt the whole platform — new code, new database, new design. Everything that followed this year was only possible because of it. It is also why our transparency report starts in 2026: records from before the rebuild are not complete enough for us to publish.

Buyers kept asking the same questions before they even reached a report, so we built the answers and gave them away. The chassis decoder tells you what a Japanese chassis code actually means. Auction price history shows what similar cars really sold for. The value calculator and our country import guides cover duty, shipping and what a car costs landed. All free, no account needed.

JP Sheet launches the Deeper Scan tier — a premium $15 product for serious buyers. Every Deeper Scan adds a 9-point hidden risk audit (theft scan, VIN match, frame damage, accident grade, repair history, paint detection, flood/fire markers, mileage verification, re-listing pattern), market valuation in USD, full auction history timeline, a confidence score, a critical-issues panel with Japanese terms, and recommended next steps. Translation tells you what is on the sheet. Deeper Scan tells you what is hiding behind it.

The biggest upgrade to the core report yet. Every verified report now includes the vehicle’s complete Japanese auction history — every appearance with its date, auction house, lot number, grade, mileage, prices, sale result, photos and auction sheet, newest first, with the purchased record highlighted. The system compares the odometer across appearances in time order and raises a clear tampering alert if the mileage ever goes down. One chassis number — the car’s whole auction life on one page.

An on-site assistant answers questions about auction sheets, prices and importing, day or night. In September 2026 it was upgraded to answer import rules and age limits for 66 countries straight from our guides, and to explain every sheet code and grade the way our team reads them.

Every report page gains two services. Re-check by our team re-pulls a delivered report for anything the auction house has published since — result, price, photos and newer auctions. Report a Problem is free and sends an issue straight to our team.

Customers kept asking whether we could check a US car. We could not — Japanese auction records say nothing about a vehicle titled in Texas. So we built a separate service on different sources: NMVTIS, the US federal title database that states and insurers are required by law to report to, plus salvage auctions and dealer listing networks. Title history, odometer records, accident and salvage records, delivered the same way — a permanent link, no login wall.

Today JP Sheet serves buyers worldwide — across Asia, Africa, Europe, the Pacific and the Americas. Our database covers every major Japanese auction from 2007 onward and keeps growing every day, and our specialists manually process records that fall outside the automated system. We operate three tiers — Auction Sheet Report ($8), Report + Translation ($10), and Report + Translation + Deeper Scan ($25) — plus standalone uploads at $5 (Translation) and $25 (Deeper Scan). The mission is exactly what it was at the start: give every buyer the truth about the car they are buying.
